Machine description:
Screw Conveyor is a machine used to transport various types of materials.
Inside of the trough, there is a screw (pipe containing a spiral blade
coiled around the shaft) which transfers material through rotation.
Two types of conveyor can be distinguished depending on the location
of the drive: pushing and pulling. In the pushing conveyor, the drive
is located in front of the inlet, in the pulling conveyor - the drive
is located behind the outlet.
Used technique:
Design automation was created for all variants predicted. All parts are standard but located on the local workstation or local server.
The modeling type was used: Local-To-Assembly (about types, you can read here).
User Interface:
The interface and model have been designed for people with minimal knowledge
of the machine's operation. The occurrence of an error during construction
has been minimized due to built-in safety functions. All correlations
in the model and replacement of parts occur automatically.
The user's action is limited to selecting or providing the appropriate values.
