Machine description:

Screw Conveyor is a machine used to transport various types of materials. Inside of the trough, there is a screw (pipe containing a spiral blade coiled around the shaft) which transfers material through rotation. Two types of conveyor can be distinguished depending on the location of the drive: pushing and pulling. In the pushing conveyor, the drive is located in front of the inlet, in the pulling conveyor - the drive is located behind the outlet.

Used technique:

Design automation was created for all variants predicted. All parts are standard but located on the local workstation or local server.

The modeling type was used: Local-To-Assembly (about types, you can read here).

User Interface:

The interface and model have been designed for people with minimal knowledge of the machine's operation. The occurrence of an error during construction has been minimized due to built-in safety functions. All correlations in the model and replacement of parts occur automatically. The user's action is limited to selecting or providing the appropriate values.
